The CustomSound C-LCR is the ideal speaker for many installations as part of an invisible surround-sound system. Capable of pumping out clear, natural vocals and instruments with no harshness, this in-ceiling speaker sounds like a high-end stand-mount monitor. The C-LCR’s angled baffle directs sound down and toward your listening position, making movie soundtracks feel like they’re coming from the action on the screen, and not several feet above it.

Engineered for Clarity
This in-ceiling, two-way design includes two 5¼” (133mm) woofers that employ clay/ceramic reinforced polypropylene cones flanking a 1″ (25mm) titanium dome, ferrofluid-cooled tweeter. The woofers and tweeter are borrowed from the PSB Imagine Series of freestanding speakers, so you can expect nothing less than immersive musicality, clarity, and believability.

Real Sound for Real Homes
To achieve natural, resonance-free sound, the C-LCR drivers are mounted on an angled baffle in a relatively deep enclosure. This allows the proper dispersion required to create a three-dimensional soundstage when recessed into the ceiling. Since the drivers in the C-LCR are also used in the Imagine Series, those freestanding models will blend perfectly with the CustomSound Series if you decide to use a combination of freestanding and in-ceiling speakers in your system.

Stand Out by Blending In
The cabinet of the C-LCR is 7¾” (196mm) deep, taking advantage of the extra ceiling space in most homes. This allows for an optimal internal volume of 0.36 cubic feet (10.24L). The provided white magnetic grilles attach to the front frame of the speaker, seamlessly covering the entire unit to conceal it from view. The speaker cabinet features cable tracks for clean and efficient wire management. As with all PSB products, these are very musical sounding speakers that blend effortlessly into any space.
