The Bluesound RC1 is about the simplest way to control your Bluesound wireless multi-room audio system. The remote comes pre-loaded with Bluesound IR codes. Just pop in the included batteries — no set up necessary. And when it comes to operation, the RC1 makes a great alternative to using your smartphone.

The remote operates compatible Bluesound speakers, sound bars, streamers, and amplifiers using line-of-sight IR (infrared) commands. But that's not all. It can send commands through that player to other Bluesound speakers, soundbars, or streaming amplifiers in your home, controlling your entire Bluesound wireless system. The RC1 also has ten music presets, so you can quickly access your favourite sources.

Note: The RC1 is compatible with Bluesound Gen 2 or newer players running BluOS 3.6.2 or later.

Bluesound Remote Control: The Bluesound BLS RC1 is an IR remote control for Bluesound Gen 2 and Gen 2i speakers, streamers, and amplifiers running BluOS 3.6.2 or later. The BLS RC1 remote gives you convenient control over your Bluesound component with simple setup. Its streamlined button layout and dedicated controls let you easily control playback without having to use the BluOS Controller app on your smartphone or tablet. Plus, with the Bluesound BLS RC1 remote control, you can set-up and program up to 10 presets inside the BluOS Controller app and enjoy your favorite albums, playlists, and radio stations with a single touch of the remote.

  • IR Commands: The BLS RC1 remote uses IR commands that let you point-and-control your compatible Bluesound speakers, streamers, and amplifiers without needing to use the BluOS Controller app on your smartphone or tablet device every time.
  • Simple Setup: Simply point the BLS RC1 remote control at any Bluesound Gen 2 or Gen 2i speaker, streamer, or amplifier to start and use the BluOS Controller app on your smartphone or tablet device to configure presets.

Note: The buttons are not back-lit.

Batteries: The Bluesound BLS RC1 remote is powered by two CR2032 3V lithium "coin-type" batteries (included). The battery compartment is located on the back of the remote and simply pries open to install the batteries. The batteries install with the etched letter facing up.
