HDANYWHERE has launched the new XTND Audio.

We all know and love the XTND range of HDBT video extenders, and it's great to see there's now a solution for those tricky audio feeds.

XTND Audio2

Now you can extend digital and analog audio signals up to 300m over a single CAT5e / CAT6 cable. Typical use cases could include:

  • Audio to a local amplifier from a centrally-installed device
  • TV audio from a room back to the head-end for reliable playback of Smart TV content through an audio distribution system or centrally-installed AVR (i.e. ARC without the hassle)

Some of the great features include:

  • Built-in DAC in the RX - no need for another box and another power supply! The Optical IN at the TX can be extracted from the Analog OUT of the the RX (heads up - no downmixing).

  • Bi-directional Power over Cable (PoC) so you can power either the transmitter or receiver. No need to jam a power supply in behind the TV!

  • Industry-standard RCA/Toslink connectors for high-res audio over long ranges:

    • 100m @ 192KHz

    • 150m @ 96KHz

    • 300m @ 48KHz

  • Supports a range of digital audio formats, including: PCM 2.0, LPCM, DTS, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus

  • Sample rate support: 32KHz, 44.1KHz, 48KHz, 96KHz, 176.4KHz, 192KHz @ 24-bit

  • Ultra-low jitter

  • Plug-and-Play design
